To those of you who lack a legitimate argument when it comes to a discussion list topic and just start calling me a racist you obviously don't know me and have no clue what a racist is.  I will give you the definition that Websters dictionary has for it. 1 : a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race 2 : racial prejudice or discrimination.  I have done none of this nor have I ever lived my life in that way.

I believe that the community needs to remove the chips from their shoulders and quit taking every remark so personally.  In that I mean when someone says,"You people" at least in my case I am refering to everyone other then myself.  There is no racial overtones with it, it is just speaking in generalities.  When I refer to the African American Community I do so by typing the long drawn out name like I just did or refering to it as AAC.  

The problem with race is the fact that the AAC is quick to jump on anyone who questions the motives or tries to change anything within that community.  Not by all mind you,  just those who lack the insight to see something is wrong and that they are part of the problem rather then part of the solution.  To call me a racist is to spit in your own faces as I am one of those people trying to make a difference in the community from the ground up.  My children play with and live among those in the AAC and we are involved in aspects of the community that help those people who are less fortunate, no matter what their color.  I have been there before,  as I was being subsidized by the government and went without electricity and water all while trying to keep my family together.  So don't you dare come on here and call me a racist when in reality it is you who are racist. 

I do not tolerate racism by anyone no matter what the color of their skin.  I am not the one who makes outrageous claims on these boards in half written English followed by a cuss word in every other sentence.  The people who claim I am a racist are the ones who do that.  It is not my fault that you see fit to type in broken Enlish and appear to be less then intelligent, that is your fault and has nothing to do with race it is just stupidity.  Maybe if you spend less time calling people a racist and more time on learning to type or act as if you are a respectable human being then you wouldn't have to yell racist when you have no argument for just being stupid.

Anytime something does not go the way of the AAC the majority of that community starts with the racist crap.  If the AAC could move past the past and get on with the future we as a community and a country could move on to a different discussion, one that tries to effect change in a positive way through education and jobs rather then subsidizing people who show no will or desire to change their situation,  no matter what their color.  If we don't make changes soon then we will all be paying dearly with a new group of hoodlums being raised in single parent houses and being allowed to roam the streets and do whatever,  whenever.

I laugh everytime someone calls me a racist, because they obviously have never met me before or maybe they have and just don't realize they have.  Hum???????  While I may not be sensitive in typing my opinions, I am straight forward in dealing with the topic if that hurts peoples feelings or pisses them off, so be it.  Often times the truth is a hard pill to swallow and when I make a point in an argument I generally have a good foot to stand on in my argument,  otherwise I wouldn't have put it out there for discussion. 

So if you want to keep hating me just remember I might be your neighbor or even your buddy at work, maybe I am your preacher and you just don't know it LOL,  I could be anybody and I am everybody.  Keep on hating because I am going to keep on calling you out if you continue to post ignorance.

This is to all of you people who come to my blog to research who I am.  I am a Family man with 3 children that are repectful and responsible young people.  I have a wonderful wife who has shown me and taught me more about love then I ever thought possible.  I am a Man of convictions who disagrees strongly on certain cozy relationships in our local government.  I am a man who believes gangs exist and they exist in our little town of Podunk U.S.A.  These gangs are here because of the military and the people in the military.  They know they exist in their ranks and they still do nothing to keep it from spilling over into the community at large.

I am a man who detest ignorance and the people who propogate it throughout the community both through their actions and what they teach their own children.  If you are unable to spell check or proof read a post before putting it on that just goes to show how lazy and ignorant you yourself are.  If you want to be heard through posting then people need to understand what exactly you are trying to say, not some mumble,  jumble crap that no one understands.

I think that as a community we need to come together in order to rid our community of gangs, however I don't feel as if the African American Community is willing to do what it will take in order to achieve this goal.  I don't believe the government officials we have elected are willing to do what it will take either.  While I believe that the current trend of gang violence is black on black crime over territory and women it can change at a moments notice and is therefore the whole communities problem.  I believe the churches of the African American Community need to step up and take a pro-active role in the change of culture, yet they do nothing.  I believe the local chapter of the NAACP needs to take a pro-active role in the change of culture as well, yet again they do nothing.  One needs to look at the situation at hand and ask ones self why are these two leading and affluent groups doing nothing??  Are they of the same mind as the Chamber of Commerce and believe that Gangs don't exist here???  I have heard the word gang more in the last few weeks then I have ever heard  it in the past, by people who were or are actual Gang Bangers, so therefore how can the Gang problem be denied any more???  It can't be denied and the groups I have mentioned along with the local and state governments need to be involved to envoke a change in the thinking of these individuals.

The African American community needs to quit harboring these criminals and quit acting as if it is O.K. to do what they are doing and take a stand to gain control of the youth that you refuse to raise in a civil manner.  It is a sorry statement to say that "I'm gonna get mines", and then do it at any cost whether legal or illegal.  To not be respectful of others and to steal from those who work for what they have is pathetic and what is even more pathetic is it is considered common everyday practice by some and as long as they don't get caught or as long as no one gets hurt it's fine.

The minute one gets busted for dealing or stealing though no one knows anything about it and it must be a mistake because junior wouldn't do such a thing.  If junior gets killed because of his actions then the whole family gets their little "R.I.P." t-shirts made and tries to portray them as a saint who never did a thing wrong or didn't deserve to die like that.  That's ##### and in my mind the family is as guilty as the one who pulled the trigger or dealt the drugs.  They all like the little gifts and the wad of cash junior has on him at all times, yet he doesn't have a job and no one questions where the money comes from.  Guilty, guilty, guilty, The culture in the African American Community must change in order to provoke change in these individuals.  If it doesn't we will just see an increase in violence and a bunch of ambulances at the court house carrying off mommas who refuse to believe their babies would do anything like that.

So don't come on here hating me for speaking a truth you know exist but don't want to change.  If anything hate yourselves for allowing it to continue,  but then turning around and acting as if you are a Christian, because no Christian would allow this kind of garbage to take place.

I have for a long time been a middle of the road democrat,  by that I mean that I find certain things Republicans do and certain things Democrats do,  to be both good and bad.  I am not so liberal that I don't want the borders of this country protected and I am not on the right so far that I believe war is the answer to every problem we have.  The thing is anymore if you are a Democrat you are automatically seen by others as a Liberal and if you are a Republican you are automatically a Neo-Con,  this is very annoying to me and very disheartening to the political process.  I chose to be a Democrat because the party as a whole stands for social programs much more then the Republican party.  With those programs comes both good and bad I realize,  but no matter what I don't feel as if the Republican stance that free enterprise will take care of everyone is really a working platform to be followed.  To be a party who believes that life begins at conception and then to look to create war in order to kill people or just throw those less fortunate under the bus because they aren't entrepreneurs and are unable to afford food or the neccessities to live then tell them sorry it's all about the survival of the fittest(Darwin),  seems just a bit hypocritical to me and that is exactly what the republicans I know would and have said. 

What ever happened to the great politicians?????  I don't mean those who can get the pork barrel projects I mean those men and women who go to Washington, D.C. and stand up for what they believe in for the people who elected them.  It is a shame to sit back and watch these public servants doing exactly what they want and not paying the taxpayers a bit of attention or adhering to their wishes when it comes to a vote.  The people going to Washington are only out for themselves anymore and have caused such polarization in this country that no one wants to work with anyone else to come to compromises anymore.  Rather then doing the business of the people they table legislation if it isn't appealing to them or if it wasn't brought to them by their party.  The only thing our congress has done together bi partisan wise in a long time was pass the Homeland Security Act and take away our civil rights, then they voted to let that DimWit President of ours take us to war.  So basically they voted to give us all the shaft without even reading the damned bill before they voted on any of it.  How friggin' stupid do you have to be not to read a bill you are going to vote on?????? 

Anyway all I wanted to say was we are in dire need for a legislator or President who can deal with both parties fairly and take what they all say process it then come up with a proposition that will suit everyone,  but by everyone I mean the people of this country first and foremost.  To sit and watch our ##### President give his little speech the other day and tell the country that we are one of the richest in the world with a straight face and then say that if congress didn't allow our troops to stay in Iraq that our prestige in the world would become tarnished absolutely infuriated me.  The fact that he thinks Americans are as big a ##### as he is burns me up,  he is a friggin tool if ever there was one.  China is holding so much of our debt right now and it is all because of a war that never should have been.  The fact that when we went to war did more then tarnish our standing in the world it turned the world against us even most of our allies have had the sense to pull out of this ridiculous war.  We will never stop fighting terrorism no matter what it has been around forever and will continue to be there.  Terrorist will not stand up and fight as most armies do so it is a useless proposition to sit here and say we will win in Iraq when Al-queda is non-existent.  When that happens there will be 4 or 5 more groups to take their place.  Don't bankrupt the country chasing them everywhere, just practice an Isolationist policy and cut the rest of the world off then once you have your own borders and harbors secure you can go after those who would hurt us through other means matching theirs.  I know it's simple but usually simple is the most effective.

I am sick and tired of having my patriotism questioned by everyone who post on discussion list.  I did not nor would I have asked anyone to pick up a gun and fight or kill innocent Iraqi Nationals.  That is a war I have not and will not ever get behind.  The war in Afghanistan was a war that was required and should have been followed through.  That is where the troops should be and that is the only conflict we as a nation should be involved in.  I am not a nation builder and this country should get out of the nation building business,  because they obviously suck at it.  To try and create a free society in a country that has been rife with civil conflicts for thousands of years and expect it to work is one of the most assanine and idiotic things a president has ever done.  That is why the only man with any sense in that administration left i.e. Colin Powell.  He knew it wouldn't work and that is why the first Bush didn't push all the way to Baghdad in the first Gulf War.  It doesn't take a Rhodes Scholar to pick up a book and read a little about a country before you invade it.  The sad part of the whole deal is,  George W Bush was a friggin' History graduate in college.  Obviously Daddy bought that degree!!!!!

My next gripe is one I have posted on the discussion list many times in the past.  The Chamber of Commerce in Hopkinsville and their cozy relationship with the Mayor of this town.  The Chamber has no business playing politics and the Mayor has no business running this town into the ground by allowing the Chamber free reign over policy in this town.  People should be so pissed off that this fool of a Mayor is allowing a group of un-elected buffoons run this town.  It is a travesty that they are allowed to do as they wish when it comes to policy in this town and the Mayor can't seem to make a decision or breathe without their permission.  The whole group down at the Chamber are a bunch of idiots to begin with,  why in the hell would you follow anything they say or have laid out in a 5 year plan.  Please,  this whole deal is ridiculous and no one seems to know that it is even happening.  

Gripe #3,   The tax free iniciative for the active duty military and their families.   This is flat out discriminatory to every tax payer in the United States of America and it spits in the face of every hard working American in this country and town.  Military families are just as capable of paying taxes and getting by as you and I are.  It infuriates me when these military people want to get on-line and question my patriotism because I expect them to pay their fair share in taxes just like I do.  The military is a job just like an assembly line worker or fireman or park ranger,  no difference accept they enjoy legally killing people with no fear of repercussions.  They volunteered and they knew what they were getting into when they signed up.  They have a PX and recieve fairly good benefits and also they receive an increase in pay while in combat.  Since it is a volunteer only armed services at this point they should be required to pay taxes just like all of us.  The patriotism they fight for requires everyone to pay taxes so that being the case they need to pay their taxes and quit bitchin' about it already.  The Chamber yet again sticking their nose where it doesn't belong and the local legislators need to check themselves,  because they have no business pushing this piece of crap through the legislature.  They all have to run for office again at some point and allowing one group a tax free status while taxing the hell out of people who live here already and will continue to long after the war is over and their time in the military is through,  is a slap in the face to everyone who works and pays taxes.  They will find themselves hard pressed to get re-elected by ignoring the will of the locals who put their dumb asses in office,  at least I will do everything in my power to get them out of office.

     This is a new deal for me,  I am sure not many will read this so I am really not to worried about the topics I post.  So here we go.

Complaint number one.

As a citizen of Hopkinsville, Kentucky It should really bother everyone that the rate of violent crimes is seemingly going through the roof in our little town.  Yet when you get on discussion boards or read the paper there is very little mention of any of it.  There is a little article and that is it,  very little follow up and absolutely as minimal reporting as possible.  Discussion boards both politically slanted and otherwise are complaint number 2.  We need to take a stand and quit sitting around waiting on someone else to handle the problem.  I don't know,  tell me what you think.

Complaint number two

Discussion boards and everything that goes on within the boards.  When KNE says it is an open discussion board that is what it is open to any ##### who wants to get on and post any idiotic remark they want to.  For some reason though people around here like to get off topic and start going off on the dummies that post the trash on the site.  What is so hard about staying on topic and ignoring the idiotic crap?  I don't understand.  Then no matter what the topic no matter who it involves it always comes back to race for some reason,  Why does that happen on every topic?  There is also the use of foul language, as one lady posted she was going to report everyone on the site and have them barred.  I found that one extremely funny and had to laugh.  It's called a "DISCUSSION" in the middle of the word it is spelled out for you "CUSS".  If you don't want an open dicussion go to Hoptown Hall I am sure the Lord of discussion will keep everyone in line and on subject just the way he likes it.  

Complaint number three

Gangs in the area seem to be taking off at a pretty fast pace.  Should we sit back and let the Chamber of Commerce run our city into the ground.  That is exactly what they are doing at this time and the Mayor sits back and waits for a new five year plan so he can decide what to do next, what a joke.  The last time I checked I wasn't allowed to vote for the Chambers president and I damn sure don't want the Chamber running my city.  I believe that a group of people who say that admitting there are gangs in the area is bad business,  as opposed to facing them head on and putting them out of business while they are still manageable shouldn't be in charge of cleaning toilets,  let alone coming up with policy for a whole city,  it is ridiculous.  The Chamber along with other forces in city government have basically taken the front line of defense that we citizens had,  that being the Gang task force, and done whatever they can to destroy it and all trust that these men and women had in the communities they were policing, by taking them and moving them around making them hard to get a hold of by the people in these communities who they depend on for tips and leads.

Complaint number four

Not enough police are on the streets of Hopkinsville because they can't pay the police men and women a decent enough wage to keep anyone here.  The city in all their wisdom pays to send these people to training in Richmond Ky and when they come back and get a little time under their belts and make a few contacts in other places they leave so they can make some decent money.  I know what most people think police and firemen are lucky to get what they get, they don't do anything but drive around and look pretty and eat donuts.  Well in some cases I will agree LOL but when you need both fire and police they are there risking their lives for you, so a thank you every now and again along with a decent wage make a world of difference to someone doing the job.  One Holiday weekend I can't remember which one it was there were only 4 officers patrolling the streets the whole weekend.  Now I am sure something was done paperwork wise to show something different,  but in actuality that is the amount that were on the street.  That is pitiful and dangerous to all around.

Well that's it for now I am sure I will have more complaints later to go off about. TTFN
