If Mr. Yeager is already on the State's Sexual Offender list and he continues to do things that keep him on this list, why is he not in jail or being rehabilitated in some way? This is ridiculous. Parents....go to watchdog.com. You can see a list of active sex offenders in your area.

Mother charged with wanton endangerment

Go figure Social Services and this is the third time on this one lady I feel sorry for the children in Hopkinsville in unsafe and unstable homes because the Social Services here in Hopkinsville will return to parent before they consider the best interest of the child really it's the best interest of the worker to do no work at all. If the stay in state care then they have a case to much work. Just return to parent and close the case. Never in the best interest of the children. It's sad but true, check there record and see how many children have been remove only to return to parent, then the same children removed again and placed back. How is it in the best interest of the children when they are removed from the same home 3 or 4 times a year placed in foster care then placed back in the home Please, we need new workers here ones that care not ones that are just here to get a check.

Police find DUI suspended driver on side of Fort Campbell Boulevard

After approaching a stopped car on Fort Campbell Boulevard that had its hazard lights on Sunday night, police found a reportedly intoxicated 24-year-old man asleep in his car, according to a citation from the Hopkinsville Police Department.
Ruben Felipe Francisco, who listed a Hopkinsville and a Clarksville, Tenn., address, was allegedly sitting in the reclined driver’s seat sleeping. His keys were on the console. According to the report, when police approached, Francisco tried to put the keys in the ignition to start the car before they took them away from him.
After reportedly failing field sobriety tests, Francisco was arrested and charged with second-degree operating a motor vehicle on a license revoked for driving under the influence.
His blood alcohol content was 0.13, according to the report. Kentucky’s legal limit is 0.08.
Francisco is being held in the Christian County Jail.

Money reported stolen from Madisonville Road home

Five hundred dollars was stolen from a Christian County man’s house early Friday morning, according to Christian County Sheriff’s Department.
John T. Walker, of Madisonville Road, reported the incident to police Friday after he found a window in his back door broken and $500 missing.

Man with suspended license charged with DUI

A Hopkinsville man was arrested Friday after his car crashed into a utility pole, Hopkinsville police reported.

Enrique Montalvo Escobar, 35, of Richard Street, was charged with leaving the scene of an accident, operating a motor vehicle under the influence, driving on a suspended license and driving without insurance.

According to police, Escobar drove his car into a telephone pole near East 17th and South Virginia streets. Escobar abandoned the vehicle and got a ride home without reporting the incident, police said.

When police arrived at Escobar’s residence, they noticed an odor of alcohol on him. Several sobriety tests were conducted and Escobar was judged under the influence, police said.

Escobar was unable to provide any proof of insurance. A records check showed that Escobar’s license was under suspension for driving under the influence.

3 men charged with metal theft in Cadiz

Three out-of-state men were arrested and charged with felony theft after they were caught trying to steal scrap metal from a Cadiz business, police said.

Cadiz police responded to a complaint about someone taking scrap metal from a bin at Benson International on Industrial Drive around noon Wednesday.

Employees at the business locked a gate and stopped the men from leaving.

Police arrested Terry Frank, 21, of Norwood, Pa., and Alex Williams, 19, and Teddy Marks, 21, both of Wichita, Kansas, and charged them with theft by unlawful taking or disposition.

The men had loaded a utility trailer nearly half full with metal and aluminum without the permission of the business, witnesses told police. They had unloaded the metal when police arrived.

Alleged shoplifter injures Wal-Mart employee

A Tennessee man was arrested Thursday after injuring a Wal-Mart employee who stopped him, Hopkinsville police reported.

Police said Joshua Strauch, a Wal-Mart employee, stopped Eric A. Detelj, 20, of Clarksville, Tenn., just outside the front entrance of the Hopkinsville store because he was suspected of shoplifting several items.

Detelj was charged with first-degree robbery.

Strauch asked to see the contents of Detelj’s coat pockets. When Detelj refused, the two got into a scuffle which left Strauch hurt.

Hopkinsville police spokesman said Detelj would only have been charged with a misdemeanor had he complied with Strauch’s request. Because he resisted, the charge was elevated to a felony.

License plate stolen from car parked in yard

Catina Kendrick reported to Hopkinsville police Thursday that someone had stolen the license plate on her husband’s car, police reported.

The car was parked in their yard on Bryan Street when someone took the plate between 8 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.

Tennessee man arrested on drunk driving charges

James Ricky Bailey, of Taft, Tenn., was arrested Thursday on charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, first offense. Bailey was speeding north on Pennyrile Parkway inn the rain when a HPD officer paced him, according to a report.

When he pulled Bailey over, the officer detected the smell of alcohol and saw he was unsteady on his feet. He told the officer he had drank three beers on the way to Illinois, police reported.

Flooring disappears from local house

Sixty boxes of laminate flooring and five rolls of floor padding were stolen from a Cavalcade Drive house under construction in the Wind Mill Farms subdivision off Fort Campbell Boulevard.
The flooring is valued at $1,600, according to a Christian County Sheriff’s Department report.
Upon arriving at the house Monday, John Metzger, of Clarksville, Tenn., found the materials missing and alerted police. The doors to the house were not locked.
The house is being built by Nick Dattilo Construction, of Clarksville, Tenn.

Construction material stolen from work site

More than $18,000 worth of construction material was stolen over the weekend from a Garney Construction site, according to a Christian County Sheriff’s Department report.
Several casing spacers, stainless steel straps and u-bolts were missing from the construction site on Smith Road when Juan Gutierrez showed up for work Monday morning. He reported the incident to sheriff’s officials. Tire tracks were found near the gate to the site.
The sheriff’s department is still investigating the theft.

Major Lane dog victim of spray-painting vandal

James Thomas, of Major Lane, was not the victim of vandalism that occurred on his property sometime Saturday night — his dog was.
Thomas awoke Sunday morning to find that someone had spray painted his dog.
The white dog had what appeared to be “Juan MX” painted in black spray paint on its side, Thomas said. The dog had been outside in Thomas’ three-acre yard, where it usually stays, when the incident occurred.
“Ever since Saturday night, we’ve kept her inside,” Thomas said. “I’d hate to see the little dog get hurt.”
No one has been charged in the case, according to a report from the Christian County Sheriff’s Department.
