Why Jail peopole on pot charges

I am a 48 yr old man from Hopkinsville area. There are no scientific facts that pot hurts anyone! I do not smoke it myself but medical proof says its better for your body!The law here says its worse than commiting murder .The prison system is over croawed so are our jails. If they would legalize it they stop alot of problems .How many times have you heard someone on pot' robs rapes or murders someone to get it. You people need to be aware of whats goin on in your justice system here.May be the NAACP could tell our state reps to legalize it . It would also creat jobs and would be the biggest cash crop in the state. It is proven to help terminally ill people. This is really something to think about!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We need to let people know that all illegal drug use of drugs is un-acceptable.People usually start with pot and moved up the the hard illegal drugs like meth.If putting a person in jail for pot charges gets them to think about that they are doing , maybe this will keep them from going to the hard drugs like meth and others.
