Cadiz woman accused of trying to run over man

A Cadiz woman was arrested around 11:15 a.m. Thursday after she allegedly tried to run over a local restaurant owner.
Shara Bumphus, 22, was leaving Cadiz Restaurant after an argument with its owner, Gordon Mitchell, when she attempted to run over him and another by-stander with her vehicle, according to an arrest report from the Cadiz Police Department. No one was injured. Bumphus was arrested at the Ideal Market in Cadiz and was charged with first-degree wanton endangerment.
