Hopkinsville man faces drug trafficking charge

A Hopkinsville man was arrested around 9:30 p.m. Thursday after police found
more than five pounds of marijuana in his vehicle during a traffic stop,
Kentucky State Police reported.
Adam Willis, 21, was stopped for speeding on the Edward Breathitt Parkway in Hopkins County. During a search of his vehicle, police found five pounds of marijuana and $1,300 in cash, all of which they seized, officials said. Willis was charged with speeding, failure to provide a license, driving under the influence and trafficking in marijuana over five pounds. Willis was being held in Hopkins County Detention Center. |
