Police in helicopter find marijuana plants

A Christian County resident was arrested around 11 a.m. Thursday after authorities in a Kentucky State Police helicopter got a bird’s eye view of marijuana plants growing on his property.
During a search of the property, officers found six marijuana plants growing behind a barn. Arleigh Parrott, 50, of Grapevine Road, was charged with cultivating five or more marijuana plants, a class D felony.
