The attempted theft of anhydrous ammonia that caused the evacuation of a school and several homes in the Herndon area on Oct. 29, and the discovery of a methamphetamine lab in Todd County last weekend underscores serious concerns of drug production in Western Kentucky. What should be done to combat this growing threat?

New rules forbidding eating and drinking in the city council chambers where voting takes place had poll workers ready to walk out.

Last week, Mayor Dan Kemp ordered police to begin ticketing cars parked downtown that exceeded the two-hour limit. He said at Tuesday's city council meeting that he would tell officers to stop ticketing until a solution could be found.
What is your solution for downtown parking? Should the two-hour limit be enforced, parking meters re-installed or more parking created?
