Improve Hoptown

If money were no object, what is one thing would you do to improve Hopkinsville?

Put more stores downtown? Build up the banks of the Little River? Widen roads? Expand the library?

What would you do?

I truly do not know, but I know this- I did not move to Hopkinsville for the wild night life! This is SMALL TOWN AMERICA, and if anybody who lives here is upset that there ain't an IMAX theater and other big-city amenities here, then they really need to ask themselves why they moved/continue to live here. Hopkinsville will never be a major metropolitan area, and therein lies the charm of the town! Mabye we should do those things that will preserve the character of the town, instead of trying to make it something that it cannot be.

A comedy club wouldn't hurt. There isn't one for miles from here. The closest one is Nashville. I think it would bring a lot of people from Clarksville and the small surrounding cities.....and what could it hurt?
