LEXINGTON, Ky. — The Heritage Christian Academy volleyball team dropped a match to Trinity Christian 25-22, 24-26, 25-23 Saturday.
The Lady Warriors were led offensively by Aranda Koch with seven kills and Alden Gray with nine service points and five aces.
Katy Ward added seven aces as Heritage Christian dropped to 17-5 on the season.
Trigg County JV squad finishes 2-3 in tourney
PRINCETON, Ky. — The Trigg County JV volleyball team finished 2-3 at the Caldwell JV Slamfest Saturday at the CAB Gym.
After losing the first game to host Caldwell County 17-21, 21-12, 15-4, the Lady Wildcats won their next two matches as they beat the Christian County freshmen team 21-17, 21-19 and then beat Hopkinsville’s JV 21-18, 21-10.
But then Trigg ran into Madisonville (7-21, 21-16, 15-6) and Owensboro Apollo (21-4, 21-7) to finish out play.
Stephanie Graves led the Lady Wildcats with 26 kills and 12 aces and Samantha Harper added 11 aces, 18 assists and three kills.
Also contributing was Amber Morris with six kills, seven aces and 10 blocks.
